Most people organic think that biodynamic farming means "growing
without the use of chemicals". But it is not just
that. Organically/Biodynamic growing is much
more than a list of chemicals which cannot be used. It
is a life style and philosophy. Farming means working
with the nature and not against it!
Biodynamic produce means to grow in harmony with the
cycles of nature (moon phases, sun) using soil management
techniques which regenerate the soil without human-made
chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Studies have shown
that fruit and vegetables grown in the high fertility
soils typical of well-managed organic and biodynamic
farms have higher nutritional levels (eg vitamins, minerals,
proteins, enzymes) and minimal toxic residues.
